Thanks to my boss Michelle, Joyce and I had the opportunity to check out ink., the newest restaurant by Top Chef winner Michael Voltaggio. What makes his food so interesting is that you get to step into his mind and experience his culinary genius. His food is complex and deep.
My favorite dish was the octopus with ink. shells. It tasted like a hearty italian sausage pasta dish. Joyce loved her apple dessert. It was a deconstructed apple pie with burnt wood ice cream and pretty amazing.
