HAMLET THE FRENCHIE

This past weekend Joyce and I joined our friends Julien and Sarah at the National Bulldog Beauty Contest to cheer on their little man Hamlet.  He is by far the cutest french bulldog you will ever meet. Case and point, he stopped Maria Sharapova in her tracks when Julien walked him along the Strand.  Unfortunately, he didn't place, but we are convinced it was rigged.  With one year under his belt, Hamlet has it in the bag next year.

SUCCULENTS

We haven't been able to really tackle the front yard at all, but we did plant these little guys in the planter box.  We visited Sakioka Nursery in Huntington Beach and pretty much found everything we wanted.

WELCOME

It's nice coming home to this.

PLANT LIFE

Joyce surprised me with this new Room and Board Case Study Planter and snake plant.  Can't deny it, it looks good.  Plus it fills the empty space left from taking down the Christmas tree.
