SHUCK OYSTER BAR

Joyce and I, along with our friends Mazi and Mona, checked out the newly opened Shuck Oyster Bar in Costa Mesa.  It is a cool little joint in the OC Mart Mix and serves up some good eats.  If you are in the area make sure to stop by and grab a bowl of chowder and a grilled cheese.

BOCALLI'S

Thanks to B. Starley's recommendation, Bocalli's was a stand out food spot.  All of the ingredients are straight from their local farm and everything we ordered was so good.  When we go back we will definitely make room for their signature strawberry shortcake.

OJAI

Joyce surprised me with a weekend getaway to Ojai.  Not only did we get some major relaxation and watch UCLA beat Nebraska, there was a Jonas Brothers sighting.
